Health Care Ministry and the Parish Nurse

Madison Park Church's Health Care Ministry is administered by the parish nurse. A parish nurse is not a primary health caregiver, but one who facilitates the use of available resources of a community and church. A parish nurse is an experienced registered nurse with a personal philosophy and commitment to enhancing the church's mission of fostering holistic health and wellness. In addition to the RN curriculum and licensure, the nurse completes specialized advanced training as a parish nurse.

The parish nurse seeks to maximize the healing heritage of the Christian tradition in our worship, ordinances, support groups, educational groups, service groups, and outreach; whereby we experience the grace that is healing.
