The Power of Prayer
It’s been said, “Prayer changes things.” It’s more than just a clever phrase, it’s a promise grounded in scripture. In James 5:16, we’re reminded, "… prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.”
God see us and hears us. And He responds to our prayers as 1 John 5:14-15 explains, “And we are confident that he hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases him. And since we know he hears us when we make our requests, we also know that he will give us what we ask for.”
Each month, you’re invited to partner with Madison Park Church in praying a simple, focused prayer. Join with us and expect God to do great things!
February Prayer Focus
God, as we celebrate Valentine's Day in February, help us to experience Your true love. May our love for You grow as well as our love for those You love. Help us to recognize opportunities to build new relationships that will influence others to a relationship with You. May our lives reflect Jesus so that through us You may expand Your kingdom.

GO Factor
• January - Pray for passion for the un-churched souls in our community.
• February - Pray for connections, not only for the ability to build personal relationships but become connected to the community through an outreach project(s).
• March - Pray for courage to invite those new connections/souls.
Velcro Factor
• April - Pray for Front Door Ministries as they seek to grow and that each person will feel warmly welcomed as they enter Madison Park Church.
• May - Pray that each time we enter Madison Park we will seek out and extend outselves to someone we do not know.
• June - Pray for individuals to step forward, as God leads them, to become Connection Partners.
Body Building Factor
• July - Pray that God will strengthen, inspire, call and protect our discipleship and small group leaders.
• August - Pray that the whole church will have a thirst to grow in their walk with Christ.
• September - Pray that fifty percent or our church family will actively participate in small group discipleship.
God Factor
• October - Pray for the Do Something campaign, that God will use Madison Park to impact our community.
• November - Pray and focus on thanking God for His goodness and many blessings.
• December - Focus on Jesus, God's gift to us, praying for opportunities to share with others, that they might receive this gift.
